Prior to Setting up 358 Pty Ltd Simon ran CPG Research & Advisory. Simon joined from Standard & Poor's where he headed up the investment consulting operation in Asia Pacific.   This position arose from Standard & Poor's purchase of ASSIRT Research in February 2005 where Simon was the head of ASSIRT Research. Simon ran the ratings, data, and the consulting teams.

Simon has an extensive background in consulting, emerging market debt, business development, and strategy, with experience gained at Rothschild and the ANZ Bank, and as Head of Investment Consulting at AON. At AON Simon dealt with over 40 corporate clients, most of which were medium to large corporate superannuation funds.  

Simon has over 25 years in the finance industry and has for the past 15 years run institutional investment and manager research businesses.
